Whether it’s too hot to turn on the oven or you simply have a craving for grilling – change up your pizza party with a little bit of heat and a little bit of sweet. This is a favorite combination for Rachel, Amy’s co-founder (and co-creator of the Amy’s pizza line). We hope you love this pizza pairing as much as she does.
- Fire up the grill to medium heat and grill the pineapple for 2 minutes per side then remove and set aside. Place the pizza in the center of the grill, close the grill lid and cook for 8 minutes. Open the lid, rotate the pizza and finish off for another 5 minutes.
- Cut the grilled pineapple into pieces and add to pizza, along with sliced red onion and jalapeño.
Amy’s pizzas cook up great on the grill. Get creative with your toppings. If you’re not a big pineapple fan, try adding chopped grilled summer veggies instead.
