Lot Code

Every Amy’s product has a best before date and a lot code on the packaging. The best before date indicates the amount of time the product can be stored and still have the best flavor and texture, and the lot code tells us the manufacture location and time for each product.

Frozen meals

The best before date and lot code for every frozen meal are printed above the pull tab on the side of the box. A typical lot code will look like this: 10-H291A Best Before August 2017.

Burritos, wraps and candy bars

The best before date and lot code are printed on the side of the wrapper.

Soups and canned items

Every Amy's canned item has the best before date and lot code printed on the bottom of the can.

Glass jars and Pasta sauces

The best before date and lot code for our glass jars are printed on the shoulder of the jar, on the glass above the label.

Meals

The best before date and lot code for our meal packages are printed on the back right top corner of each bag.

Candy

The best before date and lot code for our candy bars are printed on the back of the wrapper below the product information.
