Non-Dairy Mint Chocolate Chip Frozen Dessert
Jason and Leslie shared a passion for non-dairy frozen dessert. Jason loved making it and Leslie loved eating it. They dreamed of spreading Jason's magically delicious frozen dessert far and wide. Along with Leslie's husband, Alan, they opened 'Plant', a vegan restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina, featuring Jason's luscious dessert. On their honeymoon, Amy's cousin Anna and her husband, Andrew, stopped to eat there, and went wild over the non-dairy frozen dessert, which was so delicious that Andrew, who loves ice cream, couldn't believe it contained no dairy. Anna, deciding she simply had to have it in California, called home. Soon, Amy's Uncle Joel was in Asheville talking to Jason, Leslie and Alan about working with Amy's to introduce it to a wider audience.
