Amy’s Launches Five More ‘Light & Lean’ Meals to New, Popular Line
More Varieties Offer Light and Delicious Meal Options for Everyone!
Santa Rosa, California - Amy's, the nation's top-selling brand of natural and organic convenience foods, has added five new meals to its Light & Lean line, now offering nine delicious options. Each Amy’s Light & Lean meal contains less than 300 calories, and 5 grams of fat. These convenient, flavorful, low in fat and calorie meals are perfectly portioned and made with the same natural and organic ingredients as Amy’s regular entrees.
Amy’s created the Light & Lean line in response to consumer requests for meals that would fit their diet plans. As with all Amy’s products, Light & Lean Meals are organic, vegetarian, and are made without the use of trans fats or GMOs.
NEW Amy’s Light & Lean Bean & Cheese Burrito (SRP $2.69/6oz)
An organic whole wheat tortilla stuffed with organic pinto beans, brown rice and shredded cheeses. With the perfect amount of our authentic chili sauce, this bean and cheese burrito contains only 280 calories, 5 grams fat, 590 mg sodium and a generous 8 grams of fiber.
NEW Amy’s Light & Lean Roasted Polenta (SRP $4.89/8oz)
Sweet yellow cornmeal polenta is topped by an organic summer stew of squash, sun-ripened tomatoes and mushrooms. With a side of slow-cooked chard, this rustic dish contains only 140 calories, 4 grams fat, 540 mg sodium and 4 grams fiber. Gluten free.
