Amy’s Kitchen Previews Six New Products
Plus, Company Focuses on a Dozen More Introduced in 2003
Santa Rosa, California - Amy's Kitchen, the nation's top-selling brand of natural and organic, convenience foods, will both preview a selection of the company’s upcoming new items and showcase its most recently released products, at the Natural Products Expo East show, September 5-7, 2003, in Washington, DC. Amy’s will preview and offer tasting of the following delicious new products. These are estimated to be ready for distribution by December 2003.
Amy’s Organic “Light in Sodium” Soups
(14.1 – 14.5 ounces. suggested retail price: $1.99) Special versions of three of Amy’s most popular soups, Organic Butternut Squash, Organic Cream of Tomato and Organic Lentil Vegetable. Made with all the goodness and flavor of Amy’s regular soups, with 50% less sodium.
Amy’s Palak Paneer
(10 ounces. suggested retail price: $3.79). Another new Indian meal, following the success of Amy’s Mattar Paneer. Palak Paneer combines creamed spinach and paneer (a fresh, pressed whole milk cheese) and is accompanied by basmati rice and Rajmah Dal (made from organic kidney beans). Palak Paneer is gluten free.
Amy’s Spinach Pizza Snacks
(6 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.19) A delicious blend of mozzarella cheese, organic spinach and feta cheese, all wrapped up in a bite size whole-wheat pizza crust. About 10-12 pieces per box. Adds to the existing line of Amy’s Snacks: Amy’s Nacho Snacks, Amy’s Spinach Feta Snacks and Amy’s Cheese Pizza Snacks.
Mexican Casserole Bowl
(10 ounces. suggested retail price: $3.79) Organic black beans, sweet corn and white corn masa topped with cheese and enchilada sauce. A delicious addition to the popular line of Amy’s Bowls: Brown Rice & Vegetables, Stuffed Pasta Shells, Santa Fe Enchilada, Teriyaki, Country Cheddar and Pesto Tortellini.

Amy’s Organic Refried Beans with Green Chilies
(15.4 ounces, suggested retail price: $1.89) Amy’s has added organic green peppers and green chiles to organic pinto beans to create an authentic medley of Mexican flavors.
Amy’s Organic Refried Black Beans
(15.4 ounces, suggested retail price: $1.89) Satisfying, tasty black beans are featured in this lightly seasoned version. Try them as a hearty dip for tortilla chips.

Amy’s Rice Crust Cheese Pizza
(12 ounces, suggested retail price: $6.59) In their quest to create a wheat-free pizza, Amy’s came up with this tasty version made with a light, tender rice flour crust and topped it with their special Italian sauce and mozzarella cheese. Amy’s Nacho Snacks
(6 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.19) are filled with layers of cheddar and jack cheeses, pinto beans, olives and a just the right amount of jalapeño peppers baked in a light tender crust. They are made with all natural ingredients including organic flour, tomatoes and pinto beans. There are about 10-12 pieces per box.
Amy’s Organic Strawberry & Cream Cheese Toaster Pops
(11.6 ounces, suggested retail price: $3.19) are an appealing combination of organic cream cheese and lightly sweetened juicy California strawberries – great as a nutritious breakfast or after school snack. Available in a box containing six Toaster Pops.
Amy’s Country Cheddar Bowl
(9.5 ounces, suggested retail price $3.79), brimming with organic broccoli, carrots and bell peppers, baked organic tofu, and organic rotini (spiral) pasta, is topped with a delectable sauce made with aged English cheddar cheese. (All cheese made without animal enzymes or rennet.)
Amy’s Pesto Tortellini Bowl
(9.5 ounces, suggested retail price $3.79) is a wonderful, comforting bowl full of tender organic tortellini pasta filled with ricotta, cheddar, and parmesan cheeses, in a rich creamy pesto sauce. (All cheese made without animal enzymes or rennet.)
