Freshly picked . . . from the freezer
This is a frozen apple pie with integrity. The apples are organic, the whole-wheat flour is organic, the dairy is rBST -hormone-free, there is no corn syrup, no GMOs -- actually, the ingredients are pretty much what you would use if you were baking at home. The pie comes from Amy's Kitchen in Santa Rosa, Calif., a family business that started making vegetable potpies in 1987 and is still owned by its founders Rachel and Andy Berliner , both strict vegetarians. For the apple pie, apples are tossed with honey, sprinkled with cinnamon, and then baked in a buttery crimped-edge crust. At home, after about an hour in the oven or five minutes in the microwave, the pie is ready to eat. Sweet and overflowing with fruit, it seems more snack than dessert and is wholesome enough to eat for breakfast. Amy's apple pies are available at Whole Foods Market, Wild Oats Natural Marketplace, and Roche Bros. Supermarkets.

I generally tend to stay away from frozen foods after many a bad experience with them. However, this past Sunday I was at my local Whole Foods in Chicago when I decided that I didn't want to cook dinner that night, so I wandered over to the frozen food section and, after perusing a bit, I picked up your Cheese Enchilada.
Needless to say, I was quite amazed at how good it was! It truly tasted like I had just ordered out from a Mexican restaurant. I loved it and I will recommend your brand to all of my friends and family. Thanks for making a great product!!
