Amy’s Pizza is voted the best by Consumer Reports!
DENVER - When you're in a pinch for dinner frozen pizza can come to the rescue. Sales topped more than three billion dollars this past year - with the "It's not delivery.... It's DiGiorno" pizza the top seller. But is that the best-tasting pizza? Consumer Reports put it and 15 other cheese pizzas to the test, and Amy’s came out on top!
Consumer Reports' sensory panelists tasted more than 800 slices. A great-tasting pizza should have a crust that tastes fresh-baked, flavorful cheese, and sauce with fresh-tasting spices. And though pizza isn't exactly diet food, it turns out some are more nutritional than others.
Among the worst for nutrition - Red Baron Fire Baked Thin Crust 5 Cheese and Totino's Crisp Crust Triple Cheese Pizza. Totino's was the lowest rated for taste, too.
It turns out none of the pizzas rated Excellent. Still, many did rate Very Good. Even better - the tastiest also rated good for nutrition.
That pizza was Amy's Cornmeal Crust Three Cheese Pizza. It costs about $8.
With goat cheese and a cornmeal crust, it's not the most traditional pizza. Testers said it was a tasty change from the same old cheese pizza.

Dear Amy,
Your Comments
I tried your cheese enchiladas for the first time a month ago in an effort to clean up my atrocious eating habits and am now officially hooked on all things Amys! The vegetable lasagna is fabulous and it is a treat to be able to read a label and recognize every single ingredient. I have to admit that I am a card carrying carnivore, but thanks to your wonderful products I am slowly but surely changing my ways. My 8 year old son is crazy about the soy mac n cheez, and this is a kid who is very picky. I thank you and my body thanks you. It is worth the drive across town to get to your products.
