The latest in the lineup of
heat-and-eat foods from Amy's Kitchen is a spicy, satisfying,
authentic Indian Mattar Paneer. Ample-sized plates include
curried peas and buttery, rich Indian cheese coupled with
chana masala, or garbanzos in spicy tomatoes and organic
white rice. Even though the meal was heavily spiced and
aromatic, it managed to please tasters of all ages, including
those who don't like spicy-hot foods. Amy's meals are all organic
and vegetarian and never include eggs or GMOs. The meals
come frozen, on paper trays that can be either microwaved
or cooked in an oven. The dinners pack just 320 calories.
They cost $3.99 and are available at Whole Foods.
Because Errol has seen the company grow so much
over the last 11 years, he has great insight into what makes Amy’s
so special:
“A feeling of camaraderie, a sense of extended family pervades the company.
We like each other. We love each other. We have a great time; we laugh. This
friendship and love gets us through the stressful times. Each day becomes an
adventure, not a chore.
