Sanitation Team Lead
3rd Shift

SUMMARY
Lead sanitation groups, coordinate and direct employees during cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facility. Responsible for monitoring all safety and food safety practices are followed, in conjunction to Amy’s Kitchen rules and Sanitation Manager, and to take corrective action whenever necessary. Due to the nature of the work, this individual will be required to travel between plant locations in Santa Rosa as well as travel to other plant locations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
include but not limited to the following:
Coordinates daily objectives for sanitation personnel by assigning specific job tasks and responsibilities. Ensures job tasks are completed correctly and efficiently by monitoring progress and inspecting work of sanitation employees.
Training Personnel, including but not limited to:
- Chemical Safety
- Lock Out Tag Out
- Chemical usage, monitor concentration levels as specified by Chemical concentration sheet,
- Reporting of damage or malfunctioning parts/equipment, including missing parts of guards,
- Proper sanitation operations,
- Safe work practices,
- Proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Six months prior sanitation experience is required.
- Have knowledge of all equipment in facility.
- Prior sanitation experience is needed
- Must be able to understand and fill out forms
- Must have knowledge of all equipment in facility.
- Must be able to perform all duties in a satisfactory manner.
- Should have knowledge of chemicals handling and company rules.
- Ability to read and write memos, policies and procedures.
- Some computer experience is helpful.
- Must be able to communicate ideas and direction to employees in a clear manner. The ability to speak effectively in front of a group of employees or visitors is a must.
